If you are a tomato soup fan, then this recipe is for you. I pair it with a FAT avocado grilled cheese, and I’m a happy girl.
This recipe is full of flavor and you’ll never do canned tomato soup again. I am sure of it.
It almost makes you feel like you’re cheating because it’s SO easy. But, like my husband says, “there are no rules in the kitchen”. Well he said that before kids anyways. 😂
Ingredients:
-1 24 oz jar Classico “tomato and basil” spaghetti sauce
-1 15 oz can tomato sauce
-1 15 container of ricotta cheese
Directions:
Using your slow cooker, dump the jar of spaghetti sauce into the cooker.
Fill the spaghetti sauce jar with water. Shake the jar and dump it into the cooker.
Dump the can of tomato sauce into the cooker.
Fill the same can with water and dump into the cooker.
Empty the contents of the entire ricotta cheese container into the cooker.
Stir/mix your ingredients and cook on high (if using slow cooker) for 2 to 3 hours. Or until desired temp is reached when cooking on stove.
Voila! How easy is that?!
